Boxing is one of the most effective forms of cross-training available. It combines aerobic and anaerobic workouts and enhances your senses, including coordination, balance and timing. It can even reduce stress and give a massive boost to your self-confidence.
Whether you’re male or female, the ‘Fight it’ programme is a great way to tone and build your whole body. It’s great fun too and your friendly trainer will make sure it’s miles away from a lonely, monotonous workout.
That’s because your trainer will work one-on-one with you to create a fitness plan centred around boxing techniques, motivating you to take your fitness to the next level. It’s perfect for everyone who enjoys the thrill and buzz of boxing training without getting hit!

There are four components that create the foundation when developing your boxing skills.
1. Offence and Defence
Even if you have no previous boxing experience, the key to developing your boxing ability is to create a solid foundation from the start. Beginning with basic offence, defence and footwork techniques, you will learn and develop these skills over the 12 week programme. As well as boxing techniques, you will learn new ways to enhance your fitness routine whilst improving your speed, agility and co-ordination.
2. Footwork, Movement and Co-ordination
Personal Training is the ideal way to learn the correct boxing techniques that will take your training to the next level. Guidance and motivation from one of our Personal Trainers will ensure your movements and footwork techniques are honed to make sure your co-ordination improves with each session. Your full body workout will deliver fast and effective results giving you greater confidence in your boxing ability.
3. Fitness
Boxing delivers a balanced combination of high and low intensity workouts as well as enhancing your fitness endurance levels. Our Personal Trainers will work with you to build strength and power, sharpen your accuracy and co-ordination leading to a more toned, leaner and fitter body and mind.
4. Confidence
Confidence is fundamental to developing your boxing technique. As you start on your journey through Fight It some of the techniques and movements may feel unnatural to your body. Our 12 week Fight It programme will ensure these moves become second nature to you, giving you greater self confidence and physical well-being in all areas of your life.
The Fight It package provides an opportunity for one of our highly qualified personal trainers to work with you over the course of 12 weeks to help you develop boxing skills and improve your fitness and co-ordination. They will ensure the Fight It package is delivering results for you and that you find it fun and enjoyable.
The stages below outline the average experience from a 10-session Personal Training package.
STAGE 1: INITIAL 0–4 Weeks
- Consultation to establish your goals
- Establish basic offensive and defensive moves as well as footwork techniques
- Start to feel progress is being made with your new style of training
STAGE 2: VISUAL 4–8 Weeks
- Techniques now performed with high levels of confidence, training load increased
- Speed and co-ordination are improving and your reactions are sharper
- Start to see desired changes in your fitness levels
STAGE 3: RESULTS 8–12 Weeks
- Training routine and techniques are now embedded
- Fitness levels and co-ordination continue to improve giving you self confidence in boxing ability
STAGE 4: MAINTENANCE OR GO AGAIN 12+ Weeks
- Decide to apply new skills on your own OR
- Continue to get support and progression from a Personal Trainer
