Introducing SPIRIT
SPIRIT is a boutique-style class that combines elements of yoga and Pilates. Set to music, this session will uplift and inspire you.
Work your core, relax into the flow and find stillness. Our Dublin studio has multiple yoga classes every week, including mornings and evenings, making it easy for you to choose a class based around your schedule. With sessions including Vinyasa and Yin, you're sure to discover your new favourite yoga classes.
Yoga classes are just one of the many ways to take care of your wellbeing as a member at David Lloyd Dublin Riverview. After you've rolled up your mat, enjoy everything our health club has to offer. Swim in our indoor and outdoor pools, play a game of tennis or make time for post-workout recovery with our spa facilities. You can get some work done over a delicious coffee in our Clubroom, explore our excellent gym or try a totally different style of exercise class. Find out which type of membership will suit you best.
A Vinyasa class provides an energetic yoga workout, matching poses to breath with seamless movement - it's also known as 'flow yoga'. Benefits of the practice include increased mental clarity, and improved strength and balance.
Our yoga classes include Yin yoga, a slower session that takes a meditative approach and involves holding postures for longer.
As you might expect, our hot yoga classes take place in a heated studio. Potential benefits of hot yoga include making it easier to stretch, as well as getting your heart pumping and helping to ease stress.
We offer mat and Reformer Pilates classes at David Lloyd Dublin Riverview. The main focus of Pilates is strengthening the core, although it does include some flexibility work. For members who are new to Reformer Pilates sessions, we offer taster classes.
New to yoga? Our classes are led by experienced yoga instructors who will guide you through every bend and stretch. They are able to adapt the sequence for every ability, so beginners can mix with even the most experienced yogis.
Yoga is a holistic form of exercise, which means it helps you take care of both your mind and your body. As well as fitness benefits - improved strength, flexibility and posture - research has also linked yoga to reduced stress and enhanced mood.
Starting a regular yoga practice can support you in other types of exercise and in your daily life, whatever age you decide to start.
