Making sure we're working responsibly
As Europe's leading health, wellness and fitness group, we believe taking care of yourself is important. So naturally, we want to take care of our members, our team, the environment and the communities around us too. We're committed to making positive change through our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles. We formed an ESG committee in 2021, who identify risks and opportunities for us as a responsible, sustainable business.
Environmental
Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do at David Lloyd Clubs. We're committed to becoming carbon net zero by 2030. This means removing at least as much greenhouse gas from the environment as we produce. Not only are we looking at our Clubs, but also emissions we're not directly responsible for in our supply chain. Alongside this, we're reducing our Clubs’ waste and using sustainable raw materials.
Social
We pride ourselves on encouraging families and communities to get active. That activity doesn't stop on the court or in the gym. We create a culture that motivates our team and our members to become involved in the community. Our Clubs support a wide range of local and national charities and causes.
